Plato is a white 70lb. male American Pitbull Terrier Mix. He is a warm and loving dog who is looking for his forever home. He was dumped at a high kill shelter with heat stroke, a deep seated skin infection from extensive flea bites covering his entire body, his skin was scarred and rough. He tested heart worm positive and underwent treatment for them. He is now heartworm free! He has been nursed back to health. His skin is slowly clearing up and even has hair returning to his bald areas. He is coming out of his shell and loves people! He enjoys following me around the house and exploring. Plato had never been inside before so he has now learned how to use the stairs. He was like a goofy uncertain puppy on them at first. He learns quickly and thrives on praise. He adores being spoiled and watching movies in the couch! He’s good around most other dogs and tries to play with them. He is currently working on his leash manners which will need to be continued with his new family. Please give this loving boy a chance at a happily ever after!
Miss Juliet is looking for a forever home! She was rescued from a kill shelter. She is 3 year old husky. She gets along with cats and some dogs but prefers to be the center of attention! She is fully house trained and knows all basic commands and gimme paw! She was dropped at the shelter due to being overly protective of her pregnant owner and dog toys (resource guarding) and had gotten into a scuffle with a dog at a dog park that got too close to her pregnant owner. They said the protectiveness started when she was pregnant. I believe with lots of attention, exercise, and training she could be a perfect little girl. Please give this stunning girl a second chance at happily ever after! 💗
